More Google reviews through automatic rewards

Your customers leave a review on Google Maps — and get stamps or points added to their card for it, automatically. Set it up once, and everything runs without any manual effort.

Setup in 2 steps

Step 1: Connect Google Business

In your dashboard, go to Business settings → Services. There you’ll find all third-party integrations, including the Google Business connection.

To connect Google Business, you’ll need your Place ID — the Google ID for your business location. Enter it in the corresponding field and confirm the connection.

ℹ️

Note

You can find your Place ID by searching for your business location on Google Maps and reading the ID from the URL, or by looking it up with the Google Place ID Finder.

Step 2: Set stamps per review

Open your card’s settings (create a new card or edit an existing one). Scroll down and you’ll see a new field: Number of stamps per review. Enter the amount you want to award.

While you’re there, add the link to your Google review page under Feedback links. Optionally, you can turn on automatic redirection — then customers land directly on Google right after submitting their feedback.

💡

Tip

Automatic redirection isn’t strictly necessary — customers can follow the link manually too. The result is the same either way.

How it works for your customers

  1. The customer scans the card and taps the review link
  2. They’re redirected to Google automatically (or follow the link by hand)
  3. They leave a public review on Google Maps
  4. The system detects the new review and credits stamps or points to the card automatically
  5. The card details show a note: “Stamp awarded for feedback”
⚠️

Important

The review has to appear on Google within 10 minutes of the feedback being submitted for the system to recognise it. Ask your customers to finish the review right away and not to interrupt the process.

ℹ️

Note

The 10-minute window is a technical necessity: Google reviews are anonymous, so the system can’t tie a review directly to a customer profile — instead it matches the timestamp and the link.

Compatible card types

This feature is available for:

  • Stamp card
  • Reward card
  • Multipass
  • Gift card

Why is it worth it?

More Google reviews improve your visibility in local search — and at the same time you reward the customers who help you get there. It’s a genuine win-win: your regulars get something back, and your business earns more trust with new customers.

That trust translates into repeat business. In the DACH region, 29.3% of consumers say they shop more often where a loyalty program is on offer (hello again × Handelsverband, DACH Loyalty Report 2026). Pairing that pull with a steady stream of fresh reviews compounds the effect: better ratings bring people through the door, and the loyalty card keeps them coming back.

💡

Tip

Prompt for reviews at the moment customers are happiest — right after a great visit or once they’ve just earned a reward. That’s when a genuine five-star review is most likely.
